JOÃO DE DEUS
João is one of the world’s most powerful mediums and spiritual healers and has performed healing and cures for, literally, millions of people during the past 30 years. As a channelling medium, he incorporates more than 33 spirit entities who do the actual healing work at the Casa De Dom Inácio, the sanctuary and spiritual hospital João has built in the small village of Abadiânia on the high plateau of central Brazil.

A small proportion of the healing operations João performs are “visible”, but most are “invisible”. Celebrities such as Shirley MacLaine and Janet Leigh, as well as many prominent politicians, doctors, lawyers and other professionals number amongst those flocking to the welcoming gates of the Casa De Dom Inácio seeking cures for all known illnesses and conditions of the human body, mind and psyche. People of all walks of life, from all religious and ethnic backgrounds and beliefs are treated equally at this house of love and peace. No charge is made for healing at the Centre.

THE PLACE
Beautiful, green rolling hills extend for miles just beyond the Casa De Dom Inácio and the village, offering an abundance of walking possibilities or just the peace and quiet to sit and watch the spectacular rising or setting of the sun. A large variety of tropical birds, including parrots, toucan and humming birds, are native to the region, as are many multi-coloured butterflies. Mango, banana and papaya are only a few of the varieties of fruit trees to be found growing all around the village, highlighted by the luminous colours of bougainvillaea and other, nearly iridescent, flowering trees and shrubs.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation in the village is at one of the numerous family run pousadas (similar to small hotels) which provide breakfast, lunch and dinner (included in the group fee) along with simple but comfortable, clean and functional rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The wholesome meals are of ample proportions and include a wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The pousada where we stay is located only a short distance from the Centre, so is easily reached even by those with some walking difficulty or in need of a wheelchair.

YOUR GUIDE
Rupert Drew, group leader, is an official medium of the Casa De Dom Inácio and has been issued with a certificate of recognition of competence as a guide, sanctioned by João de Deus and the Casa Entities to bring people to the Casa. He has received two successful visible operations from the Casa Entities and his life has been profoundly altered by his experiences at the Casa. He speaks Portuguese, the language of Brazil, and has some knowledge of French and Spanish. He has considerable knowledge and experience of travelling in Brazil and of the ongoings and activities at this unique healing centre, situated over a vast bed of natural crystal and has experienced and witnessed a multitude of miracles at the Casa de Dom Inácio. For many years Rupert has been interested in healing, complimentary medicine and meditation and is qualified in Therapeutic Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, The Bowen Technique and First Aid. He lives and has his practice in Hawaii.

ABOUT THE TRIP
Your stay in Brazil will be for either two or three weeks. Extended visits can be arranged for anyone desiring more time at the Centre. Exact dates of groups will be advised upon enquiry or as soon as available. These dates are subject to change, depending on flight availability and other conditions. The number of people in the groups is limited, so early booking is advisable to ensure a place. Unscheduled visits for individuals or groups of up to 20 people can be arranged on request.

You don’t have to be ill to visit the Casa De Dom Inácio. Although the majority of people who go to the Casa are suffering an illness, physical disability or condition, many people also go for spiritual growth and development, using the sanctuary,with it’s powerful energies and wonderful atmosphere, as a retreat. If you wish to use this opportunity for a retreat experience, the Casa is an ideal place in which to do this. Anyone fit enough to travel will be fit enough for conditions in the village.

Optional day trips to points of interest in the surrounding area can be arranged at a modest extra charge. Stunning waterfalls at Pirinopolis and Curumba, Brazilia with its unique architecture, shopping for crystals and silver jewlery and presents in various local areas and the thermal waters of Caldas Novas and Rio Quente are just a few of the places within easy reach of the Centre. However, your healing is your first priority in visits to the Casa, so these excursions are only recommended when appropriate to your own best interests and wellbeing.
