Elizabeth (34) - Brazilian
Eight years ago Elizabeth had a brain tumour and was told she had only three months to live. She started coming to The Casa De Dom Inacio and, from being unable to recognise her own children and having lost many physical functions, she is now in fine health and runs a pousada in the village, near the Centre with her husband.

Rubems - Canadian
Rubems lived for years with hepatitis 'C'. In 2002, after his most recent visit to the Casa de Dom Inacio, he had tests done by two independent medical clinics which confirmed the total abscence of the illness.

Christopher - English
Christopher was diagnosed with rectal cancer in 1999. After visiting the Casa a number of times, over 1 year, he was clear of the disease

Lilliana (19) - Brazilian
Four years ago she was in hospital with lymphatic cancer. In a vision of one of the Joao's healing Entities in her hospital room, she was told to go to to the Casa de Dom Inacio and she would be healed in three months. She went and was cured and is currently studying a university in South Brazil.

Maria Luiza (63) - Brazilian
Maria, a Sao Paolo lawyer, had spastic colon and was scheduled for an operation to have part of her intestine removed. Instead, she went to the Casa De Dom Inacio and was cured of the condition after one visit.

Lynn - English
Lynn had an egg sized tumour in her upper back, which had developed over 20 years and was wrapping around her spine. In 2001 she went to the Casa and received a major visible psychic surgery from Joao de Deus, in which he physically removing the tumour. She experienced no pain during the operation and has since then been free of any related problems.

Robert - English
Suffered from MS and could walk less than 50 yards, using a stick. He visited the Casa, gave his stick to the Entity on his first day there and hasn't used it since. Now he walks 2 miles most days and recently did his first parachute jump.
